Mona El Saleh
Arabic Coordinator

Hello! My name is Mona El Saleh and I am from Palestine. I have been working with children in the field of education for going on seventeen years. I earned a B.S in Education from the University of Ajman with an endorsement to teach ASl (Arabic as a second Language) and an Instructional Technology Diploma from Michigan University (focusing on upgrading technology used in teaching). I was born in Lebanon and grew up in the UAE. My husband Youssef  and I have been married for 13 years.

I am looking forward to an exciting year working as the Arabic and Islamic Coordinator, being part of a team of teachers who will be collaborating to implement the arabic language as a modern foreign language. I am very excited to be working with different ages of children. My plan is to continue focusing on ways to improve my professional practices as an Arabic educator and helping my Team to achieve a higher grade in teaching Arabic & Islamic always.

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such amazing students and families here at the GEMS World Academy and I’m looking forward to sharing my love of the Arabic language with our students.
