About Us

GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi has been providing the highest quality education since 2011. We moved to our brand-new, purpose-built campus on Al Reem Island in 2022, when we also switched to an IB-British dual curriculum and expanded our provision to serve students from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 8 (as of Academic Year 2022-23). As we continue to grow, our ambition is to eventually become an all-through school, offering learners of all ages a world of pathways and qualifications up to Year 13.

Our curriculum is built on a strong foundation that combines the rigour of the British syllabus and the inquiry-based approach of the International Baccalaureate.
