Age Requirements & Year Placement
GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi follows the ADEK age requirement for students entering FS1 to Year 2*. For FS1 entry, students must have turned three years old by 31 August in the year of admission, four years old by 31 August in the year of admission for FS2 entry, and so on. This is applicable for all new FS1 to Year 2 students enrolling from September 2021.
All other students will be placed based on the completion of the previous grade. If necessary, further clarification will be provided by our admissions team and ADEK.
