GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi has been providing the highest quality education since 2011.
We moved to our new purpose-built campus on Al Reem Island in 2022, where we reimagined the learning experience and expanded our provision to serve students from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 11.
As we continue to grow, we are excited to announce the launch of Phase 2 of our campus in August 2025. This expansion will further enhance our learning environment with specialist science and technology labs, a secondary library, food technology spaces, robotics with CAD/CAM, a fitness suite, arts and gaming spaces, and enhanced sports and outdoor learning areas. Our long-term ambition is to become an all-through school, offering students a world of pathways and qualifications up to Year 13.

Our curriculum is shaped by the inquiry-based approach of the International Baccalaureate (IB), encouraging students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and internationally minded leaders. This is complemented by the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum for England, ensuring a broad and balanced education that meets the highest global standards.
