Lynn White

Lynn White is Deputy Head of Primary and part of the Executive Leadership Team at GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi. She joined the school in 2021, having transferred from GEMS World Academy – Singapore.

Originally from Scotland, Lynn has spent close to two and half decades teaching in various leadership positions including Head of Early Years, Curriculum Coordinator and PYP Coordinator in international schools both in Singapore and the Middle East. She holds a bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Primary Education from Heriot-Watt University and, in 2022, completed her Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education/Harvard Business School.

Lynn has been part of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network as a PYP Workshop Leader, Evaluation Team Leader and School Consultant since 2007 – roles that have involved providing professional development for teachers, acting as a consultant to schools who are new to the PYP, and supporting and evaluating IB schools throughout the world. Lynn is passionate about providing school communities with the skills, tools and dispositions to become critical thinkers, life-long learners and global citizens.
